 DOWNSTAGE 

• stage nearest the audience; front part of the stage
• downstage left; downstage center;downstage right

CENTERSTAGE 

• stage found at the middle of the stage
• centerstage left; centerstage right

UPSTAGE 

• stage farthest from the audience
• upstage left; upstage center; upstage right

STAGE RIGHT 

• the right side of the stage from the actor's viewpoint facing the audience
• the left side of the stage from the spectator's viewpoint

STAGE LEFT

• the left side of the stage from the actor's viewpoint facing the audience
• the right side of the stage from the spectator's viewpoint

HOUSE LEFT

• the left side of the auditorium from the spectator's viewpoint facing the stage; rear house left

HOUSE RIGHT 

• the right side of the auditorium fro the spectator's viewpoint facing the stage; rear house right
