HOW TO WRITE AN ART RESPONSE ESSAY

Think of an effective title; by effective I mean something striking and compelling. Why is that? Well, it's the first thing your reader's would see. If you make weak titles, your articles will likely not get any readers at all.

As INTRODUCTION, present facts about the artist and the artwork. Talk about back stories in a nutshell if there are. Choosing the right information tells the kind of thinker you are. This is the part where you need references for information. Do not plagiarize! Read about those information then restate them in the way you understood them.

You do not necessarily need references for the BODY because it talks about how you react to the masterpiece. For instance how you see poverty in a painting or depression and so on.  This is where you make the readers aware of your own thinking with relevance to the masterpiece you have chosen.

In the conclusion is where you write your realizations or some new learning you want to impart to your reader. This could also include a "CALL TO ACTION". This means that you present in the conclusion what you want your reader to do after reading your essay. You can also make recommendations.

References are needed for the information you used particularly for the introduction which requires you to present information. Let's be clear - present NOT COPY. Also include the source you took the image of the artwork you have chosen from.

For this specific output, DO NOT FORGET to include an image of the ARTWORK. It would be unlikely to talk about an art that your readers do not see.
